About Us

The New Jersey Water Resources Research Institute (NJWRRI) is a federally-funded program of research, training, and information transfer concerning all aspects of fresh and estuarine water in the state.

Its mission is to:

  • sponsor research on all aspects of water quality, water quantity, water use, and management of water resources
  • train students at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels to become the next generation of water resource professionals in New Jersey
  • facilitate the transfer of information from researchers to water resource managers and the public

USGS Announces FY 2021 WRRI Request for 104g Applications:

The U.S. Geological Survey has published fiscal year 2021 requests for 104g applications for the Water Resources Research Act Program, including National Competitive Grants, Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) Grants, and Per-and Polyflouroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Grants.

The call for proposals is CLOSED. The deadline for submission to NJWRRI WAS Monday, June 14, 2021 at 12PM, noon.
