International Hydrological Programme (IHP) IHP is UNESCO's international scientific cooperative program in water research, water resources management, education and capacity-building, and the only broadly-based science program of the UN system in this area.
International Water Law Project The International Water Law Project website was created to provide pertinent information on international water law and policy and related topics. Specifically, it offers treaties, articles, news stories, case law, Internet links, and other relevant information.
International Waters Learning Exchange and Resource Network IW:LEARN's mission is to build an Internet-based "global knowledge community" to protect, restore and sustain the world's aquifers, great lakes and river basins, coastal zones, seas, and oceans. Sponsored by the Global Environment Facility (GEF) and its United Nations and World Bank partners, IW:LEARN specifically builds capacity among transboundary water resource projects worldwide.
International Water Management Institute The International Water Management Institute is a nonprofit scientific research organization focusing on the sustainable use of water and land resources in agriculture, and on the water needs of developing countries.
International Water Resources Association IWRA's goal is to build and strengthen partnerships and mechanisms to facilitate the sustainable use of water resources worldwide. It promotes networking, information exchange, collaboration, and provides a forum on international water issues.
International Water Association IWA connects the broad community of water professionals around the globe - integrating professional thought on research and practice, regulators and the regulated, across national boundaries and across the drinking water, wastewater and stormwater disciplines. 
Natural Resources Information Clearinghouse A online natural resource library developed by the US Agency for International Development, with pages of information about USAID’s natural resources management projects, documents produced by these projects, and links to related Web resources. There are pages for biodiversity, foresty, land, and water resources.
UNESCO World Water Assessment Programme and World Water Portal The site provides links to the current UNESCO and UNESCO-led programs on freshwater, websites of water-related organizations, government bodies and NGOs, including a range of categories such as water links, water events, learning modules, and other on-line resources. Includes access to UNESCO publications.
World Meteorological Organization The UN system’s voice on the state and behaviour of the Earth’s atmosphere, its interaction with the oceans, the climate it produces and the resulting distribution of water resources.

World Water Council

Focus on international water policy, political commitment and critical water issues.
The World’s Water A site dedicated to providing up-to-date water information, data, and links to organizations, institutions and individuals working on a wide range of global freshwater problems and solutions.
Global River Discharge Database The Global River Discharge Database is a continually evolving compilation of river discharge information. Relies on a UNESCO collection of river archives from 1969 through 1984 with information on approximately 1000 stations.

Global Water Partnership

A working partnership among all those involved in water management for sustainable development, management and use of water resources. Regional focuses for all continents.
Global Water Research Coalition GWRC is a nonprofit organization that serves as a collaborative mechanism for water research and knowledge.
